What does the future hold for commercial kitchen equipment design? Will it be more of the same as heretofore, with new developments and innovations in design coming much slower than in, say, electronics & communications. Except for such examples as combination ovens, some convection ovens, and selected fryers, manufacturers have by and large been using the same basic designs for years. The future, however, holds promise for innovations and trends that will be welcome, much needed to help combat sky high energy prices by being far more energy efficient than ever, and will produce more and better products. During this seminar, PG&E's David Zabrowski will provide glimpses to a number of potential and emerging technologies applicable to commercial kitchen equipment design.
