Lighting evaluation in a marina setting. A comprehensive lighting program featuring new metal halide technology has brightened an entire boatyard on California\'s Alamitos Bay. Marina Shipyard, in Long Beach, shines at all hours since the boatyard\'s high pressure sodium, halogen, fluorescent, mercury vapor and incandescent lighting was replaced with pulse start metal halide (PSMH) lamps of 100, 150, 200, 320 and 400 Watts.
