DR Strategies for Well Water Systems

The objective of this project is to develop, implement, and field test demand response (DR) strategies for fresh water (well water) supply and irrigation system customers while leveraging the customer’s existing control infrastructure. The Rancho California Water District (RCWD) in Temecula, California, is the selected site for the field test. RCWD is a mid-size water district with an approximate non-coincident peak demand of 23 MW.
