This project evaluates the benefits and customer acceptance of electronic high intensity discharge (HID) ballasts in medium- and high-wattage applications, such as warehouses, gymnasiums, and big box retail stores. Benefits of electronic ballasts include increased energy efficiency, increased lamp efficacy, reduced fixture heat load, and variable light levels.
