Evaluation of Alternative Hot Water Distribution Systems

Develop and demonstrate a cost-effective hydronic radiant slab heating system that is less labor-intensive and quicker to install current systems; demonstration home using the installation system developed has been completed with quite positive feedback. At least one CA designer is interested in using this process to radiantly cool and heat a small commercial office building; the method also seems well-suited for use in new small one-story buildings that use lots of hot water, such as restaurants.
