Project Objective
This project will develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce power demand of residential and small commercial air conditioners which are used in hot, dry climates such as the southwestern U.S., and will work with manufacturers and utility programs to produce and market equipment which will provide real benefits for California consumers and for the California electric infrastructure.
