Investigation of Mold-Resistant Building Assemblies and Construction Practices for California

The objectives of this project are to: 1) Provide baseline data on mold incidences in residential buildings in California, 2) Characterize susceptibility of various residential building assemblies and construction practices to mold growth in the presence of moisture, and 3) Provide technical data and recommendations on improved residential building assemblies and construction practices in California, resulting in higher quality, more energy efficient homes.
