This assessment builds upon research from PIER Contract No. 500-01-023. Electrochromic windows can be darkened or lightened electronically allowing the windows to be used as energy-saving devices. The technology was installed in the Daylighting Center at SCE\\\'s Customer Technology Application Center (CTAC) facilities in Irwindale.
