|Description||This course addresses how to zone a residence for comfort while achieving energy efficiency. New research and new manuals concerning zoned HVAC systems will be presented. Methods, design considerations and calculations for ducted and non-ducted zoned systems will be covered. This class provides practical guidance to the designer, technician and contractor.|
John Proctor is an honest voice of energy efficiency for utilities, contractors, and consumers. John has served as a technical consultant for the Department of Energy in designing a new type of duct system; an expert witness on behalf of PG&E for the Department of Energy; technical adviser for the California Energy Commissions Title 24 Standards; and is a voting member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers.
