TRIO Symposium at UCSF, Mission Bay Conference Center, San Francisco - July 12, A Well Attended Success
The Technology Resource Incubator Outreach (TRIO) Symposium on Tuesday, July 12 at the Mission Bay Conference Center on the UCSF campus was a well attended success. With 166 attendees - including energy investors, researchers, energy efficiency technology and service companies, students and business consultants - the Symposium was the largest attended Symposium to date. Based on the participant's event evaluation, the majority of the TRIO participants were pleased with the event and liked the face–to–face conversations, the small intimate setting, the collaborative environment for networking, the ability to network with new-tech vendors in Energy Efficiency and Demand Response and that the information on how the utilities work may help the attendees better position their products. The survey also outlined areas the Symposium can be improved. The how to improve comments will be shared and incorporated into future TRIO Symposiums. Click on the following link to view the agenda and presentations from the Symposium.
As mentioned at the TRIO Symposium, the TRIO Roundtable is scheduled for August 30 at the PG&E's Pacific Energy Center, 851 Howard Street San Francisco. Since space for the TRIO Roundtable is limited to 25 people, we will be screening the TRIO Symposium evaluation responses that expressed interest in attending the TRIO Roundtable (for entrepreneurs and technologies in the energy efficiency and demand response space).
