Description Focusing on the current energy code, what's coming next, and improving compliance, this class provides hands-on opportunities to help you understand how to meet the lighting requirements for new and remodeled residential spaces. Topics also include PG&E lighting rebates, lighting basics, and new solid state lighting options for the home. The class in Davis includes a tour of the California Lighting Technology Center.
Audience Level This intermediate class is for professionals who design, specify, and/or inspect lighting installations in new and remodeled homes. Participants should already have general knowledge of the residential lighting code.

Instructor(s) Kelly Cunningham
Kelly Cunningham is the Outreach Coordinator for the California Lighting Technology Center. Her responsibilities include leading the CLTC outreach and communications team; working with faculty, staff, and students to develop strategic communications; and producing external relations products for the center and its associated programs. Kelly is keen on applying her design and planning skills to organizations that are developing and promoting energy-efficient technologies and greener lifestyles. She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2008 with a Master's degree in Graphic Design.
