Southern California Edison is hosting the next TRIO Symposium at USC on June 7, 2012.

The California Investor Owned Utilities continue to offer excellent opportunities to learn and understand how to work with the IOUs on the integration and commercialization of your energy efficiency or demand response technology:

Network and take part in discussions about:
  • The utility company's process for adoption of Energy Efficiency (EE) and Demand Response (DR) technology
  • How to engage with utility companies for assessing your technology, including field tests
  • How to qualify for or benefit from utility programs such as rebates and incentives
  • How to bid and win a utility company's third party solicitation
  • The role of third party implementers and how they can help you in commercial adoption of your technology
  • How investors can use utility company resources to assess opportunities
  • How to find the right people to talk to about utility company technology needs

All these and other questions will be answered by utility company representatives from SCE, PG&E, Sempra and SMUD: the four largest utility companies in the state of California, and for some, the country.

The event will be held at the University of Southern California, Davidson Executive Conference Center on June 7, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with ample time to network with IOU representatives, investors and other attendees.

This free event is a must attend for key stakeholders including entrepreneurs, investors, technology transfer officers, researchers, and other professionals interested in energy efficiency and demand response technology.
