This paper summarizes current CAISO telemetry requirements and analyzes existing technologies that might be able to meet those requirements in a manner that can be scalable for Proxy Demand Resources to participate in the wholesale market. The paper offers various solution architechtures and provides recommendations for a lab and/or field test to prove the viability of one.
