Description
The goal of Phase 1 of this project is to develop a tool that provides integration guidelines for emerging gas-fired commercial heat pump water heaters (CHPWH) and baseline equipment (standard & high-efficiency, tankless & storage-type) to ensure: - Ideal system configuration and component sizing, optimizing capital/installed costs. - Optimized system efficiency for a given installation type and climate zone (gas-fired CHPWH + baseline equipment). - Reliable energy and operating cost savings, and insight into control strategies to achieve the same.
