Indoor EDB Performance and Reliability Evaluation

The study, documented in this report, explores performance limits and reliability of electronic dimming ballasts (EDB)for Pulse Start Metal Halide (PSMH) and Ceramic Metal Halide (CMH) lighting. Establishing a benchmark for performance characteristics and expected reliability will allow SCE to assist customers in determining best use applications as well as identifying limitations of the current technology products. SCE is keenly interested in helping condition the market for promising emerging technologies.
