New Product Natural Gas Submeters Laboratory Test

A compact, Bluetooth enabled, inline digital natural gas flow meter has entered the market, with two models anticipated for 2018 market entry (Table 1.)  Both models can be installed in tight spaces and do not require venting.  The submeters are represented as being pressure independent and temperature compensated and most suitable for residential to small commercial applications. This evaluation tested two (2) of these meters from the same manufacturer in the laboratory.
